I hope you have all had a restful holiday weekend, and that Santa brought you everything you’ve asked for. Ben got us a weekend away together at a tiny house camp ground, so basically I’m never coming back. And I got him a new pair of hiking boots for our adventures, and along with buying myself a new computer – I was kind enough to give myself about 4 extra pounds from the plates of cookies I clearly couldn’t steer clear of. That Whole30 cookbook is going to be coming in handy…
So until January 2nd, I’m going to be binging on carbs, chocolate, cheese, and probably a couple of extra glasses of wine until I have to cut it out cold turkey.
While I still have my wits, and carbs about me, I’m making the most of it with this easy taco pull apart bread and a VIDEO!!

Christmas was completely relaxing, as it should always be, but never really is. Ben and I spent it with my folks this year, one night down at the Beach, where we had smoked salmon pizzas on the Big Green Egg, and watched Bad Santa. Have you ever seen the unedited, not-for-TV version? Neither had I. I was not prepared for this, especially with my parents. Quite the departure from my childhood days of Charlie Brown and cookies for Santa. But being that I’m 30, I know there is another side to the family that usually doesn’t present itself when you’re a kid. It’s just funny to see… particularly at Christmas.
Bless us Charlie Brown.
