Canned Baked Beans:

The canned baked beans and the Louisana hot sauce are the main ingredients of this dish. The combination of these products creates a new flavor profile that is more complex and flavorful.

The canned baked beans are slow-cooked in a robust sauce and seasoned with a bold blend of spices and brown sugar. For this recipe, we are going to use the Original baked beans that are usually cooked with cured bacon.

To balance out the sweet flavor of baked beans, I used a generous amount of Lousiana hot sauce because of its vinegar tang and pepper flavor.

I've tried this recipe three times, and I can't get the white part of the egg to cook like in the picture in 12 minutes. Maybe it's my oven, or maybe I'm doing something else wrong. It sure was tasty though when I finally got it cooked! (even though the yolk was over-done)

      Hi Paul,

So sorry for the late reply! I had to make these again and tried cooking the egg and beans at different temperatures. I think cooking it at 400°F for 15 minutes will yield the best result for most oven. Please let me know how it goes with the egg and beans at this temperature. Hopefully it's the sweet spot temp for both to come out perfect!

      Best,

      Rika
