When pan frying t bone steak inside the house make sure your exhaust is working properly. It might trigger your fire alarm system.

You need high heat when pan frying steak. Cook both sides for 2 minutes to sear the steak so it doesn’t loose it’s juice. I find it tastier to pan fry t bone steak since I don't loose the drippings and I can use it to make the creamy mushroom sauce.

T-bone is my second favorite steak next to ribeye steak. I am not a big fan of lean steak.

Years ago my doctor told me to quit eating steak since my blood works were high. Today, I limit my portion to 8 ounces.

When I was younger and lived alone with my two dogs, when rib eye was on sale I bought many packages of thin ribeye steaks with 2 slices a package. I pan fried both slices and had it with rice. That was dinner for me and my 2 small dogs.

I had it almost every day since it was so easy to prepare and I never got tired of it. Now that I am older, I can no longer have it every day.

My Dad loves steak so we grew up liking it too. One of the restaurants my Dad took us for a steak dinner was the House of Minis in Greenhills, Philippines.

I just googled it and to my surprise it is still open. This is a very old restaurant. One thing I remembered about this restaurant was it’s dimmed lights. It was one of the fancy steak restaurants years ago.

At home, my mom prepared fillet minion or ribeye wrapped in bacon with creamy mushroom sauce and served sizzling on a steak plate. So yummy!

I like my steak well done. Both ribeye and t bone have fat, so it works very well if cooked well done. I like it when fat is charred.

After cooking the steak, remove some of the oil and use the same pan to make the creamy mushroom sauce. This sauce complements the steak so well.

It is very delicious plus the nice thing about this dish, it is a one pan cooking from veggies to steak to sauce. Serve sauce on the side or pour it over steak.
